Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Shakespeare Day

Badgeworth Court has closed its doors to visitors to help stop the spread of coronavirus, however this did not stop us celebrating Shakespeare Day in the garden. Residents and staff all gathered together in the afternoon for a lovely danced.

VE Day Celebrations

We enjoyed reminiscing and live music as part of our VE Day celebration. There were also plenty of decorations, a quiz in the garden and much more.

Gentleman's Club

Residents truly enjoyed the Men’s Club about inspiring life memories of the residents. It is was lovely to see our residents sharing their lives and finding out interesting facts about each other.

For example, one of our residents is an artist and has lovely painting/ portraits ton share this with us. We fell we need to share this with the community and would be lovely to arrange an exhibition in the future.

Songs of Praise

Badgeworth Court residents enjoyed a Songs of Praise live from Cross Street Church. They lovely that selection of Hymns to sing along to!

Easter Celebrations

Badgeworth Court has closed its doors to visitors to help stop the spread of the coronavirus, however this did not stop us celebrating Easter.

Resident and staff loved the distribution of Easter eggs to each resident from Badgeworth.

Also, we still had the Easter egg Hunt in the garden and around the home for residents and staff.

We also arranged Skype calls from our residents loved ones.

World Poetry Day

To celebrate World Poetry day we held a reading club and took time to share our favourite poetry.
