Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Lucy Lock

Activities Coordinator

Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Easter Treats

Residents at Beaufort Grange helped the Activities Team to make some tasty Easter treat baskets for everyone. The baskets were beautiful, the chocolate was the best bit, of course, and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Happy Easter everyone!

Keeping Busy

Residents at Beaufort Grange have been busy this Easter! They have arranged lovely spring flowers to brighten up the living spaces and have enjoyed completing the puzzles, quizzes and colouring in their Easter activity packs. Who said isolation had to be boring?!

Looking Good

Residents at Beaufort Grange have been keeping up appearances with the help of the lovely Antoneta. Haircuts, styling, hand massages and manicures too! David was very pleased with his trim!

Easter Chicks

Cheswick Court community kindly gave us some of the little Easter chicks they knit. The best part was the chocolate inside, of course! We then gave them to residents for Easter. They were all very happy about them!

Zoolab's Back

ZooLab came to visit us again and brought their favourite animals: a snake, a tarantula, a millipede and a sweet guinea pig. Our residents were brave enough to gently hold the snake in their hands and were amazed on how its skin was soft!

The Willy Wicket

We went to the Willy Wicket pub for lunch. Residents had delicious meals (and drinks) and enjoyed it a lot. A memory drive around Downend brought back a lot of memories to our residents.
