Activities at Braeburn Lodge Care Home
Our dedicated activities team are constantly dreaming up new and wonderful ways to support and stimulate the residents we look after. From trips to crafts, parties to skittles, musical performances and quizzes, we include something for everyone and pride ourselves on including everyone into the fun. We have a brilliant team of volunteers who help us to deliver more trips, support us at events and pop in for a cup of tea and chat. We have pet therapy at least once per week (sometimes twice!) and we take advantage of every school break by holding large scale events that we can invite families with children to. We have been developing ties with our neighbours since we first opened and thanks to this, we have successfully brought together our residents with local churches, choirs, Brownies groups, and schools. Whatever your interests are, here at Braeburn, there's something for everyone.

Life at Braeburn Lodge Care Home
Age Concern Deeping St James
We welcomed Age Concern Deeping St James to spend a day with us at Braeburn Lodge.
Refreshments, walks around the gardens and time for a good old chat was the order of the day. We then had Lunch followed by a sing-a-long which resulted in lots of singing and dancing. A lovely fun day was had by all! We hope they'll visit again.
Country Park Walk
With such lovely weather at the moment, we thought it would be a great idea to jump in the minibus and head to Ferry Meadows for a lovely walk around the lake. Apart from trying to dodge the numerous flying bugs, it was a perfect morning!
World Cup Fever
World Cup Fever is definitely passing through the home! Here we are in our cinema room watching England win their second group game against Panama!
Arts & Crafts
It always feels good to see the end product of making something by hand. We put our skills to the test and made vases out of newspaper – and the result was great!
Singing for the Soul
We enjoyed music and singing from the U3A singers and accordion group. They played a wide variety of songs that we gladly sang along to. As regular visitors to Braeburn Lodge, we look forward to welcoming them back very soon.
Shopping at Springfield's
Some residents asked to go shopping, so that’s what we did! We had lovely morning out at Springfield's in Spalding. We shopped 'til we dropped, then rested our arms from all the bags with a lovely cuppa and cake.

Coffee Morning
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us at our monthly coffee morning, come along and make new friends - all welcome from 10.00 am on the first Tuesday of the month.
