Activities at Crabwall Hall Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Jacqui Cameron
We all know that keeping active is important. We have created a wonderful culture within the home and we work together to give residents the best possible experience. We are here to ensure that residents enjoy an environment that is both stimulating and socially active. We ensure the team knows each residents' preferences, so that we can deliver a person-centered program of events and activities. Essential to our homely feel is the strong relationships of trust we build with residents and their families and friends. The home also has its very own minibus for our numerous outings for coffee and shopping, which residents love.

Life at Crabwall Hall Care Home
Church Service and Entertaiment
Today at Crabwall Hall we had a fabulous start to the week with a visit from Father Paul, our residents gather in the lounge for the lovely service he brings.
Then after lunch we had a performance from Lainey, who brings so much joy and energy to our residents who today have been singing and dancing the afternoon away.
Sunny Walks with great company
Resident Jen likes to go out daily for her walks, as do the other residents, especially in this lovely weather.
Today Jen asked General Manager Kirsty to join her for a walk and a chat. Amazing how much you can learn about someone and their lives from chatting in the sunshine!
Why not take a sunglasses selfie! Thank you for the walk Jen
Saying 'Thank You' To our amazing staff
Today everyone got to enjoy a graze table for their morning break it was enjoyed by all and definitely worth it to see everyone smiling even more so.
A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you all do each and every day to enrich the lives of our lovely residents - Kirsty Jones General Manager
National Ice Cream Day
Residents across our homes had a fantastic time during a special live virtual event in celebration on National Ice Cream Day. Wall’s team took us on a great journey through history, sharing fascinating details about the brand since its launch in 1922. We learned about major innovations such as the introduction of Mr Whippy, Cornetto, Viennetta, Twister, and Carte d'Or.
Residents were treated to a singalong to Cornetto classic ads, an interactive quiz about fun Wall’s facts and best-of-all, an ice-cream tasting session. It was a delightful experience for everyone, especially our ice-cream lovers.
A dog is for life
Residents across our homes had a fantastic time during a special live virtual event, led by Jennifer and Emily from Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity. Jennifer and Emily took us on a journey to discover the rich history of Dogs Trust and their facilities.
Using captivating video and photo footage, our residents were able to explore rehoming centres and learn more about the highest level of welfare offered there. It was a delightful experience for everyone, especially our dog lovers.
Coffee Shop outing
