Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Kerrie Perks
Hello, My name is Kerrie and I provide the unique life enrichment for residents at Elgar Court. I moved to Malvern 12 years ago to live with my fiance and we have two tortoises and a snake. I love to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am very 'outdoorsy' and used to ride horses and compete nationally in athletics, specialising in track and field for Redditch and Bromsgrove athletics club. In my spare time, I love being in the kitchen and making treats for my family.

Always Celebrating Residents with Special Birthday Wishes
Every resident will have a birthday celebration in our home, and Parties are always a popular date in the diary with residents to celebrate together and have some fun on the dance floor. And of course, there is always a birthday cake and Prosecco offered.
Our birthday girl was very happy this afternoon and then went out to celebrate with her friends in Malvern over dinner. Life doesn’t stop at Elgar Court, so come and see us and find out more.
Wii have Fun!
Come rain or shine our residents can still enjoy themselves, and this week we introduced them to the joys of the Nintendo Wii. From bowling to dancing our residents are learning new things and having fun along the way, all without even having to leave the home on a rainy day.

Enjoying the finer things in life is what our residents expect and enjoy. This week, an afternoon of sampling a variety of cheeses and wines brought together everyone to try new cheese experiences and wines carefully selected and paired to compliment each one.
Puddings of Past and Present
Every month, we celebrate residents favourite puddings of past and present. There are six puddings to try, two of which are selected and made by our residents. Always a hit at our home as we share memories and stories around each pudding while enjoying some delicious favourites! If you would like to join our pudding club, please give our team a call!

So XSighted – We’re SO EXCITED!
We had the absolute pleasure of being entertained by the Morris Dancers So XSighted this week! This amazing group of partially sighted Morris Dancers danced for our residents this week in the sunshine and gave us all so much joy. Afterwards over tea and cake, our wonderful entertainers spent time with all of our residents. Thank you for coming to see us and we hope to see you all very soon.

An afternoon of waltzes to rock and roll!
An afternoon of chatter and dancing filled our home
this week, with our residents being introduced to local students from the Chase School in Malvern by Rachel Freeman from Everybody Dance. From Waltzes to singing along to favourite tunes we thoroughly enjoyed their company and look forward to seeing them again for afternoon tea and dancing.
