Activities at Glebefields Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Please join us in congratulating Registered Nurse; Benazir Shakkir on receiving ‘Employee of the Month’ for being so very kind, diligent, full of patience, and care.
Benazir was nominated by our residents, her colleagues and residents’ relatives who all felt she really deserved extra recognition for the amazing work she does every day and particularly throughout September.

If Music Be the Food of Love...
"Music has the power to brighten our mood, reframe our perspective, and turn that frown upside down in no time flat."
What a fabulous day, full of swinging songs from Bill Tustain with his mixture of 50's to 70's music. Our residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed his show. We are happy to welcome him again to entertain our residents, A smile on their face means a lot to us.
World Smile Day
Sometimes all it takes to make the day better is a smile whether it’s one someone gives to you, or one you share with another. On Friday 7th October, the whole home got involved to send a smile and compliment to one another in celebration of #Worldsmileday
Give it a go today... you'll feel 'Smiles Better' all day.
Seasonal Artistry
"Flowers whisper 'Beauty!' to the world even as they fade, wilt and fall"
Residents at Glebefields like to remember their past and what all they did during Spring and Summer. They made creative flowers which they like by using different materials like buttons and artificial foliage.
They all love using different colours and mediums to create textured pictures. Paul, Marlene, Helen, Edith and Marianne enjoyed the fun of making a collage of coloured paper flowers.
