Activities at Hazel Lodge Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Everyone Wants a Cuddle

So the spring weather may have abandoned us yet again.... but everyone was feeling all warm and fuzzy when Willow and Holly came to visit . The lambs who are both 2 weeks old were brought in by Beck from Pet Pals Therapy along with some very fluffy Easter chicks .
Who cares about the weather when you can cuddle up indoors with these babies.

Sping has Sprung

What a difference a little sunshine makes !
Today the weather has been glorious and everyone  (including Tia our visiting therapy dog ) made the most of it by heading outside into the Hazel Lodge gardens.
It was lovely to watch friends wandering around the flower beds and sitting chatting on the patio . It certainly looks like Spring has finally sprung .

International Women's Day

Staff and residents came together to recognise and show appreciation for each generation of ladies that has fought hard for equality . Our grandmother's battles continue to inspire us to become the strong individuals we are today and we now use their hurdles as our stepping stones to ensure a brighter, empowered future for the generations of women to come.
Here at Hazel Lodge we are lucky enough to be surrounded by amazing women of all ages and today we salute and Thank you !
