Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Dementia Friendly Film Club
Saturday morning has been a busy morning with our first Dementia film club in the cinema room showing one of the great Carry On films, then just before lunch we enjoyed games on one of our memory lane communities, it was great fun!
Joyous Visit with Bubbles & Laughter
We all really enjoyed seeing Kirsten from Debutots with the children from Nunnerywood Preschool. They always put a smile on everyone faces and bring so much joy to us all. The children love coming too and look forward to visiting their friends at Latimer Court!
Baking & Reminiscing
Residents on memory lane enjoyed baking cup cakes and helping each other, they shared stories and reminisced about when they used to bake with their children and grandchildren.
Summer BBQ In the Rain!
Summer BBQ for our residents & relatives, it was raining so we took our summer celebrations under cover instead. Thank you to Debbie the singer for helping us enjoy the day even more despite the weather.
Making the Most of the Sunshine
Enjoying the great outdoors when the sun is shining! Many of our residents have spent time in the garden, enjoying walks or simply making the most of the glorious weather chatting with friends.
Enjoying National Beer Day
What a beautiful day for a pint in the garden celebrating national beer day with friends and family. Residents enjoyed delicious chilled beer or fruity Pimm's for some of the ladies, cheers!
