Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Piano & Prosecco Evening
Residents, staff and friends of Ritson Lodge enjoyed a Piano and Prosecco evening. Everybody got involved and it turned out to be a very lovely evening. We will be repeating this regularly as well as cheese and wine evenings!
Summer BBQ & Open Day
Ritson Lodge were delighted to welcome in the Mayor and the local community to our recent Summer BBQ and Open Day. With games and paddling pool for the children, live entertainment, BBQ and Ice Cream Van there was something for everybody to do! We also were delighted to raise over £150 for a local charity!
Queens Birthday Celebrations
At Ritson Lodge, we celebrated the Queen's birthday with a royal tea party! Our residents, relatives and friends of the home enjoyed entertainment from a fantastic singer whilst having afternoon tea.
Toddler Group
The time has come around again for our monthly toddler group - once again the residents loved their visitors from the community. Smiles were seen all around. If you are interested in joining us for our next toddler group, please contact us!
An Afternoon with an Officer!
The local beat manager, PC Natalie Simmons came in to do a question and answer session for the residents, relatives and friends of Ritson Lodge. We were also joined by members of the Hopton community who were interested in hearing more about local policing. This event was enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you to PC Natalie Simmons for coming and speaking to us.
