Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Hand Bell Class
The residents at Ritson Lodge were lucky enough to be joined by a local hand bell group who put on a show but also ran a class for the residents. They had a great time learning the craft of bell ringing!
PAT Dog Visit
The residents at Ritson Lodge enjoyed a visit from a PAT dog - cuddles were had by all and there were smiles all around.
Birthday Party
One of the residents at Ritson Lodge, Rita, celebrated her birthday with us. She was so happy to receive a personalised birthday cake, presents and also enjoy singers and entertainment during the day.
Massages with Marie
Every month we have a pamper day at Ritson where residents can enjoy hand massages, nail painting and much more. We open this session up to the residents families and the community to enjoy as well.
Flower Arranging
To celebrate national floral day our residents tried out flower arranging - everybody enjoyed arranging the beautiful blooms!
Animal Friends!
We were lucky enough at Ritson Lodge to have some animal friends come to visit the residents. From creepy crawlies to fluffy owls, residents were able to hold and touch a range of beautiful creatures.
