Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Bingo Bongo Returns
Bingo bongo is getting bigger every week, with fantastic prizes to be won. Family and friends always love to join in!
Animal House
Animal Encounters joined us to show off their animal family. Residents got very excited about the different animals that come in, learning new things about each and every creature. Katie spends a lot of time with residents so they can learn everything there is to know about them.
For the Love of Music
Residents enjoyed a singalong with a visiting entertainer. Even family and friends joined in!
The Imagination Factory
Crafts Club is a big part of Ritson Lodge; we all like to make decorations ready for the next event, when we have family, friends and the public coming in. Residents are very proud of their hard work and have the chance to chat with everyone that comes in about what they have made.
Colour the World with Love
Residents have been making decorations for the upcoming Macmillan Coffee Morning. They've been working tirelessly to make sure every part of the home is adorned with the Macmillan colours.
National Dog Day
We made the most of National Dog Day by having lots of therapy dogs come in to see us. Residents, staff and loved ones all had big smiles on their faces. Some residents fell asleep cuddling the dogs and expressed their desire to have one as a pet at Ritson Lodge.
