Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Christmas Eve
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve here at Ritson Lodge. Friends and loved ones of residents at Ritson all gathered for a celebration, during which some of the staff could even be seen having a singalong! Thank you to everyone who attended – it was our pleasure having you here, and we hope to see you again next year!
Christmas Fayre
We had a fabulous Christmas Fayre on the 9th December, which had a variety of stalls available for visitors to peruse. We also had a singer and a ‘pet corner’ to entertain guests.
Roundabout Ringers
Residents got into the Christmas spirit when the ‘Roundabout Ringers’ came to visit. They were all singing along and had a great time in the run up to Christmas.
Reindeer Games
We had some festive and furry visitors at Ritson Lodge on Wednesday 20th December; residents loved them, as did our visitors.
Macmillan Coffee Afternoon
The residents of Ritson Lodge enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee/tea and cake with some other residents from Oulton Park Care Home, sister home of Rison Lodge, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Pets Corner
Pets Corner from Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, visited Ritson Lodge with some of their animals, including a snake, a bearded dragon, chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs. Residents from Ritson Lodge and Oulton Park thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon together.
