Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
104th Birthday Celebrations
The activities team decorated the purple lounge for Grace's 104th birthday, which she celebrated with her family and friends. She also celebrated with residents and enjoyed cakes a beverages later in the day.
Multi Activity Afternoon
Residents enjoyed an afternoon full of various activities at Ritson Lodge. They had a choice between arts and crafts, word searches and baking scones for afternoon tea.
The Queen's Official Birthday
We had lots of activities planned for the morning, including crosswords and baking. In the afternoon, our entertainment, Felicity, helped us to celebrate. We rounded off the day with a lovely tea party.
Easter Egg Hunt
This activity took place on Sunday 16th April. The event was open to the community; we had an Easter bunny, a colouring competition and a raffle. The afternoon was a great success.
Barn Owl Visit
We had a barn owl named Fluke visit the residents at Ritson Lodge from a local plant centre. Needless to say, Fluke got plenty of attention!
School Visit
We recently had some children from the local school visit our home. The children had written their own stories and read them to residents, which they really enjoyed.
