Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Cookery Club
Residents got involved in the cookery club by making homemade scones. Flour went everywhere, but smiles were all around whilst these tasty treats were on offer.
Karaoke & Dancing
105 year old, Grace, was taking over the microphone whilst everyone else enjoyed dancing and singing along, followed by tea and cake.
Animal Show
Katie came along with lots of animals that nobody had ever seen before. We saw some lead insects and were curious about what they ate; we were shocked to find out that they ate leaves as well. Everyone has enjoyed themselves and Katie is coming back to see us soon!
Balcony Fun
Balcony fun at Ritson Lodge. Residents enjoyed beverages and ice lollies whilst socialising on the balcony, enjoying the weather. Some residents joined in with some painting of the furniture on the balcony too.
Garden Crafts
We are now hosting our crafts clubs outside in the gardens and on the balcony because of the lovely weather. Everyone has been enjoying themselves, especially when we bring the tea and cakes out!
Arts & Crafts
Crafts Club is as popular as ever, with more residents and loved ones joining us for each session. Attendees will always create decorations and posters for upcoming events at the home. It's a good way for everyone to get creative!
