Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Valentine's Day
Everyone at Ritson Lodge enjoyed and celebrated Valentine's Day. The coffee shop and dining rooms were decorated; residents enjoyed a themed lunch and were surprised with a chocolate love heart at their table setting. We also held a Valentine's raffle.
Jewellery Workshop
Residents enjoyed an evening demonstration of jewellery making by Lola. They also had a chance to make their own jewellery, such as bracelets and hanging charms.
Potting Plants... Again!
We planted some daffodils and various other plants, which are now on our balcony. Residents are looking forward to being able to use our outside areas as the weather improves.
PAT Cat
We are really lucky to have Sam visiting Ritson Lodge with Marble, a PAT cat. They have visited residents on our Seabreeze/Sea Lane and Memory Lane units. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed meeting and showing Marble some attention. Sam and Marble are currently visiting Ritson Lodge on a weekly basis.
Reindeer Visit Ritson Lodge
Residents were visited recently by Scratby Donkey Sanctuary and their reindeer. Residents, staff and people within the local community enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment along with hot chocolate, marshmallows and mince pies. Great fun was had by all.
Ken Dalton
Ritson Lodge residents enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment by Ken Dalton.
