Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Jane Ritchie
Hello, my name is Jane and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Rose Lodge and I have been here since 2010 .
My role is to engage and stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible.
Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I am passionate about, It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we do with them. We enjoy creating new and special memories together.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Rose Lodge Care Home
Easter Fete
The residents at Rose Lodge recently enjoyed their Easter Fete where they enjoyed making cocktails, running their Knit and natter stall and putting their Easter bonnets on display!
Leading up to Easter
The residents from Rose Lodge got together to create and Easter Cake! They all had great fun making it together, but enjoyed eating it even more!
Nutrition Week
Residents at Rose Lodge have been participating in Nutrition and Hydration Week with even more healthy food and drinks than usual!
Knitting
Rose Lodge residents have been taking part in some knitting creating a few beautiful pieces! It has given them a chance to show off their hidden talent, and there is a lot of that within Rose Lodge!
Zumba
The residents of Rose Lodge have been taking part in Zumba and enjoying the light excercise! It gives the residents an opportunity to do some fun and enjoyable excercise!
Valentines Games
Don Harmer, Head of Maintenance at Rose Lodge won the game Guess the Name of the Teddy and won these lovely prizes!
