Activities at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Shelburne Lodge was delighted to deliver some yummy treats of home baked brownies made especially by Marina Glen, Shelburne Lodge's general manager and a lovely fruit hamper to the Lunch Club at The Salvation Army in Frogmore High Wycombe.
Major Richard Thompsom said "We are delighted that our Lunch Club is able to meet again as the recent restrictions have started to lift and are very grateful for the kind gift from Shelburne Lodge."

Celebrating Shrove Tuesday !
Why do we eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday?
Traditionally, people cooked and ate pancakes to mark the beginning of Lent by using remaining rich ingredients such as flour, milk and eggs that wouldn't be allowed to be eaten during the next 40 days, so they wouldn't go off.
Residents and team members at Shelburne Lodge enjoyed delicious pancakes with various topping's prepared by our chef and his team and reminisced over a glass of fizz about pancake days gone by.
