Activities at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Shelburne Lodge Care Home

Musical Mondays
We are a very talented bunch here at Shelburne Lodge Care home.
Praise, who is one of the care support team at Shelburne lodge is a self taught musician. Praise can play a number of instruments including the piano and the guitar. He often plays the piano for residents and can be found in the lounge next to the restaurant playing before lunch.
He has been such a super hit we are booking him his very own weekly guest spot!
Why not come and hear him play next Tuesday around 11.30am.

Happy 70th wedding anniversary to Ruby and Leslie.
Happy 70th wedding anniversary to Ruby and Leslie.
Residents and team members held a party to celebrate Ruby and Leslies' 70th Wedding anniversary. This wedding anniversary is known as the platinum anniversary. Platinum is precious, strong, enduring and doesn't tarnish.
We asked Ruby what the key to a long and happy marriage is, Ruby said "A husband that doesn't argue!" Ruby also said "There is no point to arguing, we do everything together. We lived in the same village, went to school together and we have been together since."
We asked Leslie the same questions and he agreed with Ruby.
Congratulations Ruby and Leslie, we hope you enjoyed your special day.
