Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

30 years of care at Barchester.
This month we all celebrate 30 years of care at Barchester
Residents, staff, family and friends all celebrated together at Shelburne Lodge, with lots of laughter and music entertainment with Valerie-Champagne Enterprise. Scrumptious sweet treats filled the afternoon too enjoyed by all.

Gary Allen entertained residents and their loved ones at Shelburne Lodge with some of our old time favorites. We had a lovely time singing along and clapped the whole way through.
Kathleen, resident at Shelburne Lodge said "it was a thoroughly enjoyable. afternoon. I loved singing along."
Shelburne Lodge is looking forward to Gary returning on the 16th December with his Christmas special show.

Fun and Games with prizes to be won at Shelburne Lodge.
It was eyes down at Shelburne Lodge today as residents and their loved ones had fun playing Bingo. Roy joined his wife Joan and they were the first to shout Bingo winning with the first line of the afternoon. Freda was the lucky winner and called a Full House.
There were lots of prizes to be won and afterwards we all enjoyed a glass of wine.

25 years of service.
To celebrate the fantastic achievements of Celia, 25 years of service and Nisha 10 years of service at Shelburne Lodge Care Home the residents and team held a party to say thank you. Rachel baked an amazing selection of cakes for everyone, Emily arranged a grazing table and Estelle presented the awards to a very surprised Celia and Nisha. The team had kept the party and presentation a surprise so it was lovely seeing their faces when they walked in to the room.
Thank you Celia and Nisha you are our very own super stars.

A wonderful afternoon of entertainment.
Residents and team members at Shelburne Lodge had a wonderful afternoon of entertainment with Graham Snarnell. Graham played a collection of old country folk songs. Residents had a lovely time singing and dancing along and enjoyed delicious refreshment prepared by the chef and his team.

A visit from the Students at Wycombe Abbey.
Shelburne Lodge are delighted to be working on and intergenerational project with the students from Wycombe Abbey.
This week students played card game with residents and reminisced about their favorite game shows.
