Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
Motown Entertainer
Steve Simmone, all the way from New York, put on a fabulous show singing everyone's favorite Motown classics. Residents and staff were singing and dancing and really enjoyed the show. Those who were unable to participate in the garden enjoyed the music from their rooms.
Birds Of Prey
It was a successful day at Shelburne Lodge, we had our open day on the 6th of July this year. Residents, families and friends thoroughly enjoyed the day and had the chance to see & hold the beautiful raptors. Food and refreshments were also provided.
Beautiful Bluebird Belle
Residents of Shelburne Lodge were thrilled to welcome Bluebird Belle during Armed Forces Week, who entertained us with a mixture of popular wartime favourites from the '40s and '50s. All residents enjoyed the show, which took place in our beautiful garden.
Carers Week
Staff and residents gathered together to celebrate Carers Week. Both staff and residents made cakes and biscuits to thank the carers for all their hard work. All the carers enjoyed their day.
Dementia Action Week
Shelburne Lodge hosted councilor Mazamal, mayor of Wycombe district, Buckinghamshire, as a part of Dementia Action Week. Dementia friends and residents shared some experiences and due to the generosity of local businesses, and community effort, the home raised £250.00 to support the Dementia society. It was a hugely successful and enjoyable day at Shelburne Lodge.
Shelburne Flower Show
Residents, families and friends gathered together to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show. Annalisa, the resident gardener, picked up various flowers, which were arranged beautifully by the residents. After the celebration the flower decorations were displayed all around the home.
