Activities at Snowdrop Place Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Having started my journey as a carer, I am now thrilled to be supporting the activities for our wonderful residents here at Snowdrop Place. I love working with them to ensure we provide a full person-centred planner of amazing and engaging things for everyone to enjoy and be a part of

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Jazztastic!!
Today we were lucky enough to have the very talented saxophonist Hannah Spires Music in.
Hannah played to a full house, with an assortment of jazz music,including the classics Moon river and somewhere over the rainbow .
Thank you Hannah our residents had a fabulous time
Cricket anyone !
Three of our Amazing residents had their wishes come true when they visited The Ageas Bowl to watch a cricket match
Private Shopping experience
A few of our lovely residents were treated to a private shopping experience in a local French boutique , where they tried on this seasons "must have" collection

Too Many cooks
Who ever said that too many cooks spoil the broth hadnt met our lovely residents, who had a fabulous time making no bake cheesecake

There is lovely sense of fulfilment, when the flowers you have helped plant come into bloom .
