Activities at Snowdrop Place Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Snowdrop Place Care Home

Snowdrop in Bloom

Making the most of the lovely weather , some of our residents enjoyed an afternoon in the garden flower arranging .

Home Shopping

The residents at Snowdrop  Place, had a glorious afternoon browsing through a wide selection of garments, when Linnies Clothes Shop came to visit .

The Residents  said it was so nice, as they didn't have to worry about aching feet  which normally happens after a  trip to the shops .

Ladies that Lunch

Who needs to go out for Afternoon Tea when the Chefs at Snowdrop Place make such an enticing array of goodies.

Kings Coronation

Snowdrop Place joined in with the Kings Coronation celebratory weekend in style, starting off with some of the residents becoming Milliners for the day, and making their own Fascinators to wear for the Kings Coronation.  The fun didn’t stop there as Residents, their relatives and staff all got involved in the celebrations for The Kings Coronation on the Bank Holiday Monday, with an Afternoon filled with Delicious Homemade food, Cocktails and much Merriment.

They didn’t let the Typical English weather dampen their enthusiasm, as they posed for pictures with His Royal Highness King Charles III.
