Activities at Snowdrop Place Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Snowdrop Place Care Home
International Flower Day
Our very own florists Audrey guided us through our first flower arranging session.
For our first attempt I think we did very well.
National Winnie the Pooh Day
In honour of the honey loving bear we made our own little bears and this afternoon relaxed listening to chapter 1 the introduction of Winnie the Pooh in our cinema room.
Piano Sessions
Our piano sessions are becoming more and more popular. We have some very talented residents among us at Snowdrop Place.
Live Singing from Marcus
Great afternoon spent listening to live entertainment from 'Marcus'. He had us dancing in our seats & singing along.
Christingle Service
St Luke's Church Hedge End held a Christingle service for our residents and some of the children from Pavilion Pirates Preschool Hedge End Southampton joined us.
We had a lovely morning together making our Christingles and learning all about the different parts.
Houseplant Appreciation Day
Gemma our Activities Coordinator brought in her Spiderplant from home and we propagated the spidererettes.
We had a great time potting up the little plants and reminiscing about our gardens.

Roses & Reminisce Gardening Group
Come and join our fortnightly Tuesday Roses & Reminisce Garden Club is for our Memory Lane residents also open to the local community living with Dementia and their carers.
