Activities at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

St. Patrick's Day
We had a fantastic St Patricks day here at Southgate Beaumont, celebrating with some delicious Guinness cake prepared by our wonderful Chef Dan. We then had a good old sing along and a fun St Patricks day quiz.
Helen was very happy to have her picture taken with a lucky Irish Leprechaun! Especially as she was born in Cork!
We also popped into all our residents individual rooms which brought a great deal of smiles and laughter.

International women's Day!
Southgate Beaumont Care Home marked International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8th by spending the day celebrating the achievements of wonderful trail-blazing women throughout history.
Residents took part in discussions about the role of the many different women who have shaped history from Cleopatra and Boudicca to Florence Nightingale and Marie Curie right through to the Queen and Mrs Thatcher. They talked about the important women in their own lives and celebrated the achievements of their fellow residents.
Southgate Beaumont celebrated the day with an inspirational talk from Guest Speaker Rabeya Islam. Rabeya won The Woman In Financial Advice Award 2022. Rabeya talked about being a strong woman with a thriving career.
