Activities at Tewkesbury Fields Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Paula Lourenco

Activities Coordinator

Hello, my name is Paula and I’m the Activities coordinator at Tewkesbury Fields care home. I’ve joined Barchester healthcare in 2020.

As part of the lifestyle enrichment team, I will be organising daily activities, ensuring that residents have varied activities to choose from each day. I love enriching our residents’ lives, creating memories and be able to provide meaningful activities to each one of the residents living at Tewkesbury fields.

Community celebrations with Age Uk

We were very privileged to be part of the one-year anniversary celebrations for Age UK at the Black Bear in Tewkesbury. Our home deputy manager Jess made a wonderful cake that was enjoyed by all. Music, prosecco and a good sing a long made for a fantastic morning of celebrations and as always there was plenty of laughter and chatter! This is a community group that thrives with friendliness and makes everyone feel welcome.
