Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hello, my name is Paula and I’m the Activities coordinator at Tewkesbury Fields care home. I’ve joined Barchester healthcare in 2020.
As part of the lifestyle enrichment team, I will be organising daily activities, ensuring that residents have varied activities to choose from each day. I love enriching our residents’ lives, creating memories and be able to provide meaningful activities to each one of the residents living at Tewkesbury fields.

Life at Tewkesbury Fields Care Home
History of Tewkesbury Fields
These photographs are fascinating, they show the original farmhouse and the farm which Tewkesbury Fields care home was built on. The old farmhouse still forms part of the home today. The final photo shows the home with the further extension of the Cotswold Wing. We are taking room reservations for this stunning luxury residential care home.
Tewkesbury Fields Re-design
Tewkesbury Fields has not only been refurbished, it has been re-deisgned. There are now fewer bedrooms, which means they are all now more spacious and all en-suite. Premium rooms offer that little bit extra including a fridge, coffee machine and large wet room, with many having direct access to a patio area. The home also has two spa bathrooms, these are designed to promote relaxation, with relaxing lighting options and a choice of music.
Cosy Lounges for Afternoon Tea
With a cold forecast for Tewkesbury this weekend, imagine being sat round with friends having afternoon tea in front of the fire. This is one of the newly refurbished Tewkesbury Fields lounges, the home has several lounges, a cafe by the reception area, smaller quiet seating areas as well as an activities room. The cafe will have beverages and snacks available 24 hours a day for residents to enjoy at a time that suits them.
