Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Life at Trinity Manor Care Home

We've achieved a perfect score on Carehome.co.uk

Staff and residents are delighted to reach their goal of a perfect overall score of 10 on the independent care home review website, carehome.co.uk.

Carehome.co.uk is often one of the first places people will look when searching for a care home for a loved one. It is independently run to ensure that all reviews are vetted and come from people who have genuine experience of the homes that they are reviewing.

General Manager Sohail, said: “We are beyond thrilled to reach a perfect overall score of 10 on carehome.co.uk, it just goes to show what a credit to the home the team at Trinity Manor really are. I am so proud of each and every one of them for all of their hard work and dedication to the people they care for. We have a fantastic team here, I’m so lucky to work with such wonderful people and to have such lovely residents.”

Chinese New Year

Trinity Manor welcomes the Year of the Dragon...

The Dragon is powerful, endlessly energetic and full of vitality, goal-oriented yet idealistic and romantic, and a visionary leader. They know exactly who they are and possess the keenest sense of self among the 12 zodiacs of Chinese astrology.

Our fresh start commenced by delivering fortune cookies around the home. With inspirational messages such as "delight the world with compassion, kindness and grace" & "the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese", our favourite token of inspiration was "Some days you are pigeon, some days you are statue. Today, bring umbrella."

Let's see what fortunes these may bring!

Dreams can come true

This week we were able to grant one of our residents new year wishes to go to a classical music concert.

With the fantastic and generous help from Westlands Yeovil we were able to grant Pat’s new year wish. We were treated to Armonico Consort ‘The forgotten Scarlatti Tour’.

It was smiles all round as the beautiful music was played and sung. There was even an interval ice cream.

Chocolate Cake Day

Residents and Staff enjoyed some sweet treats recently for National Chocolate Cake Day, the treats were provided by chefs Marcus and Liam and it’s safe to say we have a few sweet tooth’s in the home as they didn’t last long.

Sit & Strengthen

Communifit and Trinity Manor have been working closely together for a long time now and still enjoy the sessions as well as continuing to benefit from them.

The Sit & Strengthen programme was created in memory of founder Craig’s grandma. He witnessed first-hand her deterioration from the ageing process. Sitting most days, with no structured exercise keeping her body going. This gave him the idea to help others in similar situations.

National Activity Providers & Professionals Week

It is National Activity Providers Week and we would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank our wonderful Life Enrichment team, Laura and Kath for all of the fun and laughter they bring to the home.

We are proud of the unique, inventive activities and meaningful moments they bring to our residents every single day. They always go above and beyond their role and for this we are truly grateful.
