Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hi, My name is Bibesh Shrestha, Activity Coordinator
Having more than 10 years of professional experience in multiple sectors at different places have given me the confidence to get involved in any challenging environment where my skills and experience will be instrumental in achieving personal and social goals.
Being a motivator and influencer to the people around me has always been my passion, and also part of my profession. As an Activity Coordinator, my ultimate goal is to transfer my energy and spread my happiness.
Being active and full of energy with humbleness is what defines me and transferring that energy to the people around me has been my prime interest.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Trinity Manor Care Home
Beautiful Blooms
Our lovely ladies have been busy along with Kath, arranging some beautiful displays to be used across the home over the next few days.
The sweet smell of freshly cut flowers has been evident across the home and is a most welcome addition to our Dining and Lounge areas, thank you to our budding team of florists!
Gin Tasting Experience
We discovered a new selection of Gins collated from flavours inspired from around the world, which were selected by Laura our Activity Coordinator.
We tried a total of 6 different flavoured gins and the most favoured was Sicilian Lemon Gin. We had a wonderful afternoon in the cafe with Gin and nibbles.
National Ice Cream Day
To celebrate nation ice cream day residents were treated to a ‘classic 99’ or ice lolly from our friend Tracy and her marvellous ice cream van!
We were also thrilled to be able to join a session with renowned ice cream manufacturer Walls to discuss all things cold and creamy.
Mother’s Day
Trinity Manor was inundated with beautiful flowers and gifts for all of the wonderful mothers that we have within our home.
Everyone enjoyed a lovely home cooked Sunday roast and a beautiful afternoon tea, it was smiles all round as sons and daughters came to visit.
National Macaron Day
Residents at Trinity Manor were treated by Deputy Manager, Paul, to a selection of Parisian inspired light and crispy Macarons.
The flavours included; Blood Orange, Pistachio, Salted Carmel, Raspberry, Lemon and Chocolate.
It’s fair to say that these little treats were a firm favourite across our home.
Up Periscope
Trinity Manor recently welcomed students from Sherborne Girls to deliver a fantastically interactive STEM Workshop.
Focusing on principles of light, our residents were guided through making periscopes and learning about refraction, coming away with some pretty handy tools - perfect for checking the tops of their wardrobes and seeing if there's any wine left on the top shelf!
A big thank you to the school team for spending their afternoon with us - it was very much enjoyed by all!
