Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Bibesh Shrestha
Hi, My name is Bibesh Shrestha, Activity Coordinator
Having more than 10 years of professional experience in multiple sectors at different places have given me the confidence to get involved in any challenging environment where my skills and experience will be instrumental in achieving personal and social goals.
Being a motivator and influencer to the people around me has always been my passion, and also part of my profession. As an Activity Coordinator, my ultimate goal is to transfer my energy and spread my happiness.
Being active and full of energy with humbleness is what defines me and transferring that energy to the people around me has been my prime interest.

Life at Trinity Manor Care Home
Chocolate Cake Day
Residents and Staff enjoyed some sweet treats recently for National Chocolate Cake Day, the treats were provided by chefs Marcus and Liam and it’s safe to say we have a few sweet tooth’s in the home as they didn’t last long.
Sit & Strengthen
Communifit and Trinity Manor have been working closely together for a long time now and still enjoy the sessions as well as continuing to benefit from them.
The Sit & Strengthen programme was created in memory of founder Craig’s grandma. He witnessed first-hand her deterioration from the ageing process. Sitting most days, with no structured exercise keeping her body going. This gave him the idea to help others in similar situations.
National Activity Providers & Professionals Week
It is National Activity Providers Week and we would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank our wonderful Life Enrichment team, Laura and Kath for all of the fun and laughter they bring to the home.
We are proud of the unique, inventive activities and meaningful moments they bring to our residents every single day. They always go above and beyond their role and for this we are truly grateful.
A Wee Dram!
Happy Burns night from all at Trinity Manor Care Home!
There was, of course, no other way to celebrate, than with a 'wee dram' of scotch to mark the occasion today.
There were many activities to get into the spirit as well. Laura and Kath facilitated painting, baking and a poetry session lead by our Scottish representatives at Trinity Manor.
The day was rounded off with a themed supper by the team in the kitchen; haggis, neeps and tatties.
Barchester’s BIG Quiz of the Year
Today we joined with other Barchester homes in the BIG Barchester Quiz. Residents and staff alike joined in the competition and enjoyed some lovely canapés made by our chefs Marcus and Liam.
The competition was fierce, however we all enjoyed the fun and fellowship, starting the year off in the right way.
New Year’s Wishes
During the first few days of 2024, we have been gathering New Year’s wishes from our residents referring to what they’d like to do this year. Last year we were able to make these wishes come true, it will be our mission to grant as many of these wishes again this year.
There have been some excellent suggestions from our residents and we hope to be able to fulfil them all. Stay tuned throughout the year as we make these wishes come true!
