Activities at West Oak Care Home

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Dorothy's 70th Birthday

A great time was had by all at Dorothy's birthday party, which was held in our new bistro. Family, friends, residents and staff helped Dorothy to celebrate her birthday in style.

Friendship Week

Friendship Week

Our Friendship Week started with residents making friendship bracelets for their favourite staff members. We hosted a garden party where new friendships were made whilst enjoying the party atmosphere created by our singer, Dave Dawson.

To finish off the week, residents from our dementia and frail & elderly floors made cards for each other using the photos from the garden party to mark the occasion.
