Activities at Westgate House Care Home
Our role in the home is fundamental to ensuring that our residents enjoy a fulfilling quality of life. We strive to provide a stimulating, creative & varied range of activities & events in the home, which everyone can enjoy whether they prefer social group engagement or one to one interaction. Residents choice is what we aim to provide to the best of our abilities. We enjoy being creative, sharing projects and discussing with our residents the kind of activities they would like to enjoy. Both indoor and outdoor activities are offered to cater for all tastes as well as regular outings to local places of interest.

Life at Westgate House Care Home
VE Afternoon at Westgate House
Team members and residents enjoyed an afternoon tea on VE Day, fun-filled activities and refreshments. Residents spent time reminiscing about their time in the army and waved flags remembering that special day.
One of the residents was in the woman’s land army and timber corporation. Today she is one of Westgate House's prestige residents. These medals were presented to her for her services in WW2.
