Activities at The Wingfield Care Home
Here at The Wingfield our activities team provide a varied and interesting range of activities for all residents. We are registered with the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) and we take pride in delivering activities that will enhance residents lives and bring happiness and a sense of purpose. Our cooking activities are very popular, as well as the regular book clubs, coffee mornings, skittle matches and bus trips. We provide one to one support for those who are unable to attend activities and we have tea dances, musicians, quizzes, music and movement, as well as our giant scrabble board! But most importantly we have fun! Relatives are always welcome and there is always much laughter and smiling faces during our activities. We take pride in what we do and we continually strive to enhance residents lives through meaningful activity.

Life at The Wingfield Care Home
Mulled Wine & Mince Pies
On Wednesday 20th December, we invited the community and loved ones into the home for some festive mince pies and mulled wine with our Acting General Manager, Vivian. A great time was had by all!
Christmas Has Arrived!
With not long to go, this is just one of our magnificent Christmas trees that we have in our home. We have seen sightings of Father Christmas carrying presents throughout the home already!
Indoor Gardening Club
When the weather is dull outside but we have enthusiastic gardeners amongst us, what do we do? We call for an indoor creation of gardening boxes ready for spring! Residents in our Memory Lane community had a great time preparing and planning for the spring months.
Gentlemen's Club
Here is our Wingfield Lounge Bar ready for the Gentlemen’s Club; our gentlemen enjoy various games with a beer or two. Cheers!
