Happy New Year!

Here at Badgeworth Court Care Centre, we would like to wish all families, friends, and the community a very happy and safe New Year. A big thank you for all your support during the past year and always – we are very grateful.

To mark the start of the New Year, we hosted a special concert with Music by Phoebe. Our talented chef provided a fantastic hot buffet that we all enjoyed with some champagne. Spirits were high as everyone talked about their hopes and expectations for the year ahead and we all danced and sang to some timeless party songs.

Christmas Piano Concert

Here at Badgeworth Court we were treated to a special Christmas piano concert. To finish off the session, we had a lovely themed discussion and we all shared happy festive memories with each other.

Our talented chef ensured Christmas cocktail and homemade cake are on hand for all to enjoy.

What a great event!

Festive Day

We have had a really busy morning enjoyed by member from our community, residents and family members.

They could choose two fantastic workshops: Christmas wreaths lead by the talented Emma and Christmas card making by the lovely Eillen and her daughter.

To continue with this festive day at 3.30pm we had a fabulous Choir: The Incredibles.

They really brought the Christmas spirit into our home. After this we had delicious cakes and warm drinks provided by our Chef.

Nativity show at The Catholic School of St Gregory the Great

To start off the month of December in style, our Activities Team organised a special themed event for all to enjoy.

Our residents loved the amazing Nativity show at The Catholic School of St Gregory the Great truly enjoyed the children's performance and seeing them in all the different characters of the Nativity. A big thank you to Mr. Rachel Penny for the kind invitations.

Afterward, our residents enjoyed a cup of tea in the Waitrose & Partners, where residents and team members had a lovely chat reflecting on this morning’s performance and sharing Christmas memories.

It was a great way to get in to the spirit of Christmas!

Two Fantastic Trips!

The first one was to the Cheltenham Farmers Market, where our ladies had tea and a stroll around the market. We took the opportunity to bring some flowers back to the home and we also made some friends, who gifted us with some amazing cakes.

On our second trip out, to Cotswold RDA, where a 'Tea with a Pony' dementia initiative was recently launched. RDA created ‘Tea with a Pony’ in response to the growing number of people living with dementia, for whom horse-riding may not be suitable but who might be helped by some other form of animal-assisted activity involving horses.

In celebration of Bonfire Night, with a selection of spectacular fireworks by Cheltenham Fireworks and we gave our residents some sparklers to light once the sun had set. We all enjoyed traditional bonfire night treats, BBQ and warming drinks including hot chocolate and mulled wine prepared by our talent Chef.

Thank you for all our team members for much efforts and support a lovely night to our residents and community. A special big thank you to our neighbours from Reddings for kindly attending to our event.
