Boat Trip on the Severn

Badgeworth Court residents enjoyed a wonderful day out with the Willow Trust.  Barchester colleagues teamed up, it was lovely to have the teams and residents from two of our sister homes, Ashchurch View and Tewkesbury Fields. A great opportunity to meet each other!  Everyone enjoyed a picnic, fresh air and took time just to relax; just like going on a cruise or holiday

A big thank you to the Captain and volunteers who made us feel very welcome on board, you're all fantastic.

Fantastic Summer Fete

Badgeworth Court celebrated their annual summer fete and what fun we had despite the weather. Everybody enjoyed guest appearances from Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a rock and roll singer.  Stalls were selling wonderful products, including honey, ceramics and Jewellery and of course lots of cake. Special thanks to all stall holders, staff and resident families who helped make this event a success.  Thank you also to all the companies and individuals who donated prizes the raffle has raised over £400 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Memory Cafe with Mindsong

We had a wonderful afternoon at Badgeworth Court's Memory Cafe, it was packed with residents and families alike. Thank you to Mindsong whose weekly visits are always so enjoyed by our residents, everyone joined in with well-known songs like "Bring me Sunshine" and "If you were the Only Girl in the World" and with so many people the singing could be heard all around.

Thank you to our hospitality team for the homemade cakes and cheesecake which all went! We are hoping for many more Mindsong sessions in the garden over the coming months, thank you to this wonderful group of volunteers.
