Activities at Braeburn Lodge Care Home
Our dedicated activities team are constantly dreaming up new and wonderful ways to support and stimulate the residents we look after. From trips to crafts, parties to skittles, musical performances and quizzes, we include something for everyone and pride ourselves on including everyone into the fun. We have a brilliant team of volunteers who help us to deliver more trips, support us at events and pop in for a cup of tea and chat. We have pet therapy at least once per week (sometimes twice!) and we take advantage of every school break by holding large scale events that we can invite families with children to. We have been developing ties with our neighbours since we first opened and thanks to this, we have successfully brought together our residents with local churches, choirs, Brownies groups, and schools. Whatever your interests are, here at Braeburn, there's something for everyone.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Sunflower Competition
Our residents have been busy pottering in the garden. They have recently started a sunflower growing competition. Here is a little glimpse of our starting point. Watch this space...
Fun in the Sun!
The residents enjoyed the lovely sunshine with drinks and music!
Perfect Painting Weather
Our talented resident artist made the most of the sunshine to paint scenes of the garden.
Easter Memory Café
The residents joined us for our Easter Memory Café and spoke about their memories of Easter whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and some Easter eggs.
Musical Magic
Residents enjoyed a morning singing some old favourites.
Spa Day
Residents enjoyed some pampering and relaxation in our 'pop up spa'. They were offered a variety of treatments, including natural face masks, cooling eye gel pads, manicures and hand massages that were accompanied by relaxing music and images and a lavender scented diffuser.

Coffee Morning
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us at our monthly coffee morning, come along and make new friends - all welcome from 10.00 am on the first Tuesday of the month.
