Activities at Brampton View Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Book Reading Club
What’s the best way to have a book club?
By inviting our local nursery to join and support our weekly book club with the residents! Our residents spent the morning reading to the children the most interesting of books and the result was incredible! The interaction between generations is great to see and the children have been so well behaved. Thank you once again !
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Our local nursery has been supporting our residents at Brampton to dress our first Christmas tree! The colours, design and finish were decided between each resident and child! This has been our first tree to enter our competition!
Bonfire Night
Brampton Views private bonfire display held by the creative Brampton team. We had over 30 visitors and all our residents out in the central garden enjoying the show! Finished off with some homemade hot chocolate with cream and burgers, for those with a sweet tooth our Head chef Glen made s ’mores for all to enjoy! What an incredible turn out.
Raising money for Children in Need
Isaac’s Journey fighting Batten Disease. Jack's Journey & his fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia
Two incredibly brave and inspiring young boys. Isaac a 6 year old battling with Batten Disease and Jack who was diagnosed with Leukaemia when he was just 7 years old. We all had a wonderful day dressing up, playing games, and enjoying some Children in Need themed treats.
We like to say a massive 'Thank You!' to everyone who made today amazing.
Autumn Crafts
Our residents have been getting crafty and creating the most amazing pieces of seasonal art, themed for Autumn and Halloween!
Marjorie's 100th Birthday!
We all celebrated our fabulous resident Marjorie who turned 100. It was an amazing day; Marjorie wore her favourite colours, and her cake was themed around her favourite colours and flowers. Happy Birthday from everyone at Brampton View.
