Activities at Cadbury Hall Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Hannah Lewis
Hi, my name is Hannah and I am the Activities Coordinator at Cadbury Hall.
I studied ‘Creative Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing’ at university and am passionate about using the arts to aid people’s social, physical, and mental wellbeing. In my spare time I love to dance, sing, and act, and help to run a local drama group for children aged 10-18.
With the support of all staff at Cadbury Hall and feedback from residents, we aim for a varied and person-centred activity schedule to help the residents lead rich and fulfilling lives. The best part of my day is seeing the residents get stuck in with the activities and looking at the smiles on their faces.

Life at Cadbury Hall Care Home
Cadbury Hall at The North Somerset Show
It was always going to be an early start but members of the Cadbury Hall Team, including Emma, Tash and Richard as well as number of their children couldn't wait to set up a Barchester, Cadbury Hall stand at the North Somerset Show this Bank Holiday the 1st. After our minibus was rescued from a muddy approach, we were directed to our pitch. Before long we were soon joined by Helen and were delighted to receive a number of enquiries as well as to hand out goodie bags to members of the public and children passing by. There was a chance to introduce ourselves to others with trade stands and to see farm animal prize winners parade past including cattle and sheep. There were dog trials, steam engine exhibitions and so much more on what turned out to be a lovely sunny afternoon.
Hug the Home with Bunting at Cadbury Hall
Judging our very own "Hug the Home" Bunting competition
Residents, families and staff gathered together with much anticipation to judge our "hug the home" with bunting competition. Everyone was amazed by how wonderful every child's creative artwork is, that has been sent in, which has made choosing the winners very tricky indeed! We are delighted to say that Theo has won the pre-school prize category and we are going to arrange to visit all the children at Yatton Infant School and Yatton C of E Junior Road to announce more winners as soon as they are back at school after the Easter break. Watch this space!
Tea in First Class at Tickenham Garden Park
It was great to be out and about in the Spring sunshine today as our new minibus was put into great use to allow us to visit Garden Park at Tickenham in time for tea. We boarded a charming first class railway carriage which was the perfect venue to sit down and to enjoy one another's company. The menu was just too tempting.

Mothers Day 2023
Residents, their families and staff all came together to celebrate a wonderful Mother's Day at Cadbury Hall on Sunday. Everyone enjoyed a fabulous three course roast dinner with a chance for a glass of wine at the meal table along with Eve's pudding for dessert. A lovely day much enjoyed by all.
