Activities at Cadbury Hall Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life. Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hannah Lewis
Hi, my name is Hannah and I am the Activities Coordinator at Cadbury Hall.
I studied ‘Creative Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing’ at university and am passionate about using the arts to aid people’s social, physical, and mental wellbeing. In my spare time I love to dance, sing, and act, and help to run a local drama group for children aged 10-18.
With the support of all staff at Cadbury Hall and feedback from residents, we aim for a varied and person-centred activity schedule to help the residents lead rich and fulfilling lives. The best part of my day is seeing the residents get stuck in with the activities and looking at the smiles on their faces.
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Cadbury Hall Care Home

Cheese and wine tasting
Even though a few of our ladies enjoy a glass of wine with their lunch they were very keen to sample different local wines and cheeses. This was a new activity for us and it went down a storm. The activities team stocked a trolley and visited everyone in the home with plates of goodies, even gluten free options were available. Mollie has requested that this become a regular activity in the home, to which we will happily oblige.

Musical delights
Today at Cadbury we welcomed back one of our favourite musical entertainers, David Harris from GWR, as he likes to say. He is extremely talented, brings his accordion, ukulele, guitar and harmonica and plays all the classics, including our favourites from musicals such as Oklahoma, south pacific and my fair lady. Cathy and Norah provide the backing vocals and Roy likes to have a dance in his seat. We eagerly await his return.
