Activities at Cepen Lodge Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hello. my name is Anita, I have worked at Cepen Lodge for 5 years, I started as a Senior Care Assistant and now I am the Activities Coordinator which I really enjoy, I love the interaction with our residents and making their days enjoyable. I am always thinking of new activities and events, and ways to engage with our local community for our residents benefit. Cepen Lodge is a great team that I am proud to be a part of.

Trip to The Best Ever Brownie Company
We ventured out to The Best Ever Brownie Company for some delicious treats, and a walk about the farm to see the animals! We picked up a couple of boxes to bring back for everyone to enjoy too. All agreed we had a lovely afternoon out, and we will definitely be coming back again soon. Thankyou so much for your great hospitality - and the best ever brownies!
Trip to Western!
Day trip to Western!
Some of our lovely gentleman joined us on a brilliant outing last week. We took a trip to Western to enjoy the fresh sea air and take a walk down the pier. Of course a visit to the seaside is not complete without some delicious Fish and Chips!
It was a brilliant afternoon with us even getting to enjoy some ice cream for the trip home. Thank you to everyone that joined us.
Easter Fete
What a fabulous time we had at our annual Easter Fete! It was brilliant to open our doors to the local community and celebrate.
We had the pleasure of welcoming lots of different business from our local community to join us. We had face painting, a stilt walker and of course a delicious BBQ provided by our talented hospitality team.
It was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all! A big thank you to everyone that joined us.
Flower Arranging Class
At Cepen Lodge we hold fortnightly flower arranging class for our local community to join.
Look at what our brilliant residents have produced in on of our recent classes, don't they look beautiful!
These class run every other Tuesday, and everyone is welcome to join us. Its a great opportunity to try out new hobby and meet new people.

We have been busy dropping off gifts to the wonderful women we work with - from our fantastic operational trainers to the teams at Hathaway Medical Centre,Rowden Doctors Surgery Chippenham Community Hospital . Today we celebrate you and all of the fantastic hard work us women do!
St David's Day
Celebrating St Davids Day
Mona and Anita spent the morning making welsh cakes, and Mona taught some of us some Welsh! She even dressed up for the occasion, who can resist Anita's Welsh frock.
We then had a fabulous afternoon with Memory Lane Entertainment dancing around the lounge with our Wales flags.
It was a brilliant day had by all.
