Activities at Cheshire Grange Care Home
The activities team are constantly striving to meet the varied needs of everyone who lives in our home, offering a wide range of group and individual social events. There are regular visits from entertainers, along with craft activities, baking, games & puzzle days and pampering sessions, which fill the week. However, we can always find time for outings and just spending that little bit of special time with residents who enjoy the peace and quiet. We aim to bring the activities to the individual, whilst making it a whole home experience.

After originally starting at Cheshire Grange in May 2015, I'm delighted to be back in the role of Activities Coordinator. It is a privilege to be in this role and spend time, getting to know our ladies and gentleman and their loved one, whilst doing all the fun things that can make such a difference to their days.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Cheshire Grange Care Home
A Winning Streak?
One of our Carers, Viv Parr, won a phone for downloading the Barchester App onto her phone and completing a questionnaire.
It was presented to her by Regional Director, Gill Bruton.
Employee of the Month - April
Employee of the month at Cheshire Grange in May was a team effort.
The winners were gardening team, Kia and Biff Reston. They were presented with a shopping voucher from General Manager, Allison Kennie.
Make May Purple
As part of 'Make May Purple' for the Stroke Association, we held a coffee afternoon.
With our cake, raffle and 'guess how many sweets in the jar' competition, we raised £140 for them.
We were also joined by professional rugby player, Chris Bridge, who was kind enough to draw our raffle.
The King of Swing
We were joined by the brilliant Andy Bayley who sang all the greatest hits from Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and many more.
We're looking forward to him visiting again soon
More Arts & Crafts at Cheshire Grange
As part of our weekly Arts & Crafts sessions, residents created hedgehog books. The final products were truly unique!
National Bread Week
The spirit of National Bread Week was infectious apparently, so residents at Cheshire Grange got to work baking some bread.
