Activities at Cheshire Grange Care Home
The activities team are constantly striving to meet the varied needs of everyone who lives in our home, offering a wide range of group and individual social events. There are regular visits from entertainers, along with craft activities, baking, games & puzzle days and pampering sessions, which fill the week. However, we can always find time for outings and just spending that little bit of special time with residents who enjoy the peace and quiet. We aim to bring the activities to the individual, whilst making it a whole home experience.
Jo Eland
After originally starting at Cheshire Grange in May 2015, I'm delighted to be back in the role of Activities Coordinator. It is a privilege to be in this role and spend time, getting to know our ladies and gentleman and their loved one, whilst doing all the fun things that can make such a difference to their days.

Life at Cheshire Grange Care Home
Arts & Crafts Sessions
In our latest arts & crafts sessions, we were making jigsaw puzzle trees. It was a lot of fun for residents, and they definitely showed us their creative sides.
Queen Elizabeth's 90th Birthday Party
We recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea at Cheshire Grange to celebrate Her Majesty's birthday.
Cheese & Wine Evening
We were entertained by the very popular Richard Millington at our monthly cheese & wine evening, and it was wonderful to see so many friends and family members join us.
Trip to Llandudno
We had a lovely drive down the coast road in North Wales, and stopped off to get some fish & chips for lunch.
Our Visit to the Lewis Caroll Centre and Dormouse Tearooms
We had a wonderful guided tour of the church where Lewis Caroll was baptised and had a look around the visitor's centre.
After all the walking around, we popped around the corner to the Dormouse Tearooms, where we had a lovely hot drink and some homemade cake.
Kids Planet
We had a lovely visit from local nursey, Kids Planet. The kids were very lovely and energetic, which really made the residents smile.
