Activities at Cheshire Grange Care Home

The activities team are constantly striving to meet the varied needs of everyone who lives in our home, offering a wide range of group and individual social events. There are regular visits from entertainers, along with craft activities, baking, games & puzzle days and pampering sessions, which fill the week. However, we can always find time for outings and just spending that little bit of special time with residents who enjoy the peace and quiet. We aim to bring the activities to the individual, whilst making it a whole home experience.

After originally starting at Cheshire Grange in May 2015, I'm delighted to be back in the role of Activities Coordinator. It is a privilege to be in this role and spend time, getting to know our ladies and gentleman and their loved one, whilst doing all the fun things that can make such a difference to their days.

The residents are always busy at Cheshire Grange! One of the ladies favourite activities at the moment is flower arranging and so it was the perfect time to have a go with a lovely catch up!

We recently celebrated the birthday of one of the lovely residents Rev Tecwyn Jones. He was 99 years young and our chef kindly made him a cake to celebrate the ocassion!

We were invited to Statham Lodge for afternoon tea by 'Contact the Elderly'. A great time was had by all! We were entertained by a local female choir, followed by a game of bingo and listened to a very talented Accordian player!

Kids Planet Nursery Visits Cheshire Grange

We recently were lucky enough to be joined by some children from 'Kids Planet Nursery' in Lymm. We all had a lovely chat, and they told us what they had been up to and even bought some of their favourite toys to show us! We all took part in some parachute exercises which was great fun.

The residents at Cheshire Grange have recently been enjoying taking part in flower arranging. The staff at Cheshire Grange hold resident centered activities throughout the week ensuring they always have something fun and interactive to do!
