Activities at Claremont Parkway Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Boogie with Singers

Who doesn't love a little 'shake, rattle and roll'?

It's always a pleasure to be entertained by the mother & daughter duo; Lesley Ann & Katie Rose. They sing all the classics our residents know and everyone gets to sing along and have a good old boogie.

Thank you ladies for another fantastic Claremont Parkway performance. Claremont Parkway care home provides a varied life enrichment programme tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.

Goodbye Beckaa

After 8 years of continuous service our much-loved Head of Housekeeping 'Beckaa' said goodbye to her Claremont Parkway family for pastures new to become a Teaching Assistant.

Staff and residents will miss her beautiful smile, enthusiasm and overall kindness. We just know she'll make a super teaching assistant and those children will simply love her!

General Manager, Natalie said: “Beckaa is one of those people who was born to care for others – she has such a huge heart and greatly loved by everyone here at Claremont Parkway. We all wish her every success on her new teaching career path."

Best wishes for the future Beckaa, or should that read...'Miss Nolan'

Pet Therapy and Easter Crafts

Marvellous Margaret the self-titled 'Crazy Guinea Pig Lady' and super volunteer visited the home along with her little furry friends to entertain our residents with an Easter themed activity.

Our residents enjoyed petting, feeding and cuddling the Guinea pigs as they created some wonderful Easter trees full of decorative paper eggs.
