Activities at Claremont Parkway Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Elain Carey
Hi. My name is Elain and I help to deliver the daily programme of activities and entertainment and celebrations - there is always a birthday to celebrate! I like to see residents making friends and chatting with each other. I have a background in dance, music and acting, and I am also a qualified Zumba instructor, so I love it when we have entertainers in the home. We also have regular visits by therapy pets which residents find very relaxing.
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Claremont Parkway Care Home

Pet Therapy and Easter Crafts
Marvellous Margaret the self-titled 'Crazy Guinea Pig Lady' and super volunteer visited the home along with her little furry friends to entertain our residents with an Easter themed activity.
Our residents enjoyed petting, feeding and cuddling the Guinea pigs as they created some wonderful Easter trees full of decorative paper eggs.

Laughter with Steve Jay
We had the lovely Steve Jay in this afternoon for some live entertainment and he had everyone singing along and laughing.

Resident Ambassador 2023
We would like to congratulate Sally on her new role of Resident Ambassador!
Today we had our monthly residents meeting and we all nominated her as our new ambassador for 2023. Sally is excited to be the voice of her fellow residents and has said she'll always be available for a chat with residents and their family and friends, staff and visitors to Claremont Parkway.
If you, or a loved one are considering later life care, we are welcoming new residents and would love to show you around our beautiful home. Come and have a chat with Sally, she'll be happy to tell you all about life within Claremont Parkway and the care we provide.
