Activities at Claremont Parkway Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at Claremont Parkway Care Home
Resident Ambassador 2023
We would like to congratulate Sally on her new role of Resident Ambassador!
Today we had our monthly residents meeting and we all nominated her as our new ambassador for 2023. Sally is excited to be the voice of her fellow residents and has said she'll always be available for a chat with residents and their family and friends, staff and visitors to Claremont Parkway.
If you, or a loved one are considering later life care, we are welcoming new residents and would love to show you around our beautiful home. Come and have a chat with Sally, she'll be happy to tell you all about life within Claremont Parkway and the care we provide.
Magical Minuture Donkeys
Today we were visited by Magical Minis, Lovable Miniature Donkeys Freya and Tallulah were so behaved and put so many smiles on our residents faces in the conservatory. Our residents enjoyed getting to meet both donkeys, stroking and learning all about miniture donkeys.
Yummy Cookies!
We baked chocolate chip cookies today and couldn't wait to try them. All the staff tried them aswell and we definitely give them 5 stars!
Oomph Relaxation
Today we joined an Oomph live session, where it guided us through meditation and open mindfulness to see Spring in. Jayne and Sally were using their senses other than sight to imbrace relaxation and calmness through listening to the environment around them and imagining they were in a garden full of blooming flowers.
Easter Themed Art
We all got in the Easter mood this afternoon with some creative colouring.
Pet Therapy Afternoon
We had a little visit from Lucia's Tiny Farm yesterday, the residents and family members always enjoy these pet therapy afternoons.
