Activities at Collingtree Park Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join in with activities and events as often as they can.
Martin Tilly-Reed
Hello, my name is Martin, I'm the activities coordinator here at Collingtree Park
My role is to ensure that our activities, outings and the entertainment we provide is stimulating and inclusive of all our residents no matter their challenges. It is important to me that our weekly calendar offers enriching experiences with music from live entertainers, visits to various locations outside the home, as well as arts and crafts tailored to individual abilities.
Getting to know our residents better is so important, and through regular family and friends’ meetings we can gain a greater understanding of their loved ones' interests and life prior to joining Collingtree Park that will make for a richer activities program to be developed.
I look forward to getting to know you, and your loved ones.
We are always open to new ideas. If you would like to get involved in any of our Life Enrichment activities or have a skill, or project you'd like to share with our residents, please click here to contact the activities team direct. New entertainers and community links are always welcome.

Life at Collingtree Park Care Home
Easter Bonnet Making
Our residents had a great time decorating the bonnets and then trying them on, ready for the Collingtree Park Sunday Easter Bonnet Parade Competition.
Afternoon Tea Party
Two of our Collingtree Park residents celebrated their milestone birthdays: Evelyn (101 years young) enjoyed an afternoon tea party with three of her closest friends, and John celebrated his 90th birthday with his lovely wife, Pam.
Kindness from the Community
We have been overwhelmed by the kindness in the community at this difficult time. The local school has been busy writing letters to the residents, who they met at Christmas time; and the team at Living Well Gym have collected a gift hamper for the residents full of treats for them.
Winter Wonderland Display
Residents enjoyed walking around the Winter Wonderland display at Milton Keynes indoor shopping centre, followed by lunch and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Residents Enjoyed Pantomime Show
Collingtree Park went to the pantomime to see Aladdin, Joe Pascale had the residents smiling and laughing to all his jokes, while enjoying traditional ice-cream. A great time was had by all.
Christmas Has Come
We had a surprise visit from Father Christmas on Christmas Day. All gifts were gratefuly received!
