Activities at Falmouth Court Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Employee Of the Month August
A huge well done to Gail our Reception/Admin Assistant for winning August's Employee of the Month.
Falmouth Court Dog Show
What a huge success for Falmouth Court over the weekend. Our first big community event in the form of a fun dog show held in our beautiful gardens.
The day was an overwhelming success with around 250 people attending and roughly 75 dogs of all different breeds.
The event was held to raise money for local charity K9 Crusaders Dog Welfare. Final figures raised yet to be counted so please do watch this space!
Even the Mayor, Mayoress and their lovely furry friend were in attendance.
Our 2nd Chef, was behind the BBQ all afternoon serving up delicious burgers and hotdogs along with tasty cupcakes for pudding! While the kids enjoyed a bouncy castle and lucky dip.
Residents and staff all got involved too and everyone had the most spectacular afternoon.
With a huge thank you to Katie and Pam from The Groomery for judging the classes ranging from “waggiest tail” to “best trick”. It was a hard job with so many wonderful dogs to choose from.
Also a huge thank you to Brian Etherington Meats, Farm Shop & Butchery Academy, West Country Fruit Bailey's Country Store D&M's Disco, Wedding & Party Specialists Puppy Steps Dog Training & Walking For all their donations, help and support up to and on the day.
The West of England Steam Engine Rally
What a wonderful day our residents had today with a trip to the The West of England Steam Engine Rally at Stithians Show ground.
We took 3 minibus loads up there to enjoy the rally. Our talented chefs made a picnic for everyone to enjoy and the sun shone for the occasion.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day, here at Falmouth Court we love taking our residents out on life enriching trips in the local community.
