Activities at Hall Park Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Natasha Lindo
Natasha is the Activities Coordinator here at Hall Park. Natasha really enjoys her job as no two days are ever the same. The life enrichment and daily activities program aims to provide stimulation for the mind, body and soul by engaging with residents daily. We all love to use our imagination and here we encourage creative activities. We also have a minibus which is used weekly to take residents out to cafes, local beauty spots and day trips.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at Hall Park Care Home
Games and laughter
Our home was full of fun and laughter with a game of balloon tennis. Which was requested by resident Lorna, who said she really enjoys the playing the game as it’s a fun way to get some exercise.
We had lots of giggles as we tried passing the balloon to each using our hands, feet and even our heads.
Once we tired ourselves with the game, we sat with a nice cold drink reminiscing about growing up in Bulwell and Hucknall
Made with Love
It's Housekeeping Week from 3rd - 9th September, so our residents had a busy morning making thank you cards for our housekeeping team to show their appreciation for everything they do!
Our ladies really enjoy having a good natter while having our arts and crafts sessions, as it's something they all love to do and what better to do than to do it together? We all had a wonderful time.
Dominoes Tournament
At Hall Park, our residents love dominoes so we decided to contact other local care homes in the area and set up a tournament! What could be better than lots of residents making friends in the area over a good game of dominoes?
Our Activities Assistant Gareth hosted our first round this week with Fairway View Care Home who kindly came to visit us with some of their residents, all raring to go ready for a game!
A wonderful time was had by all, with an overall victory for Hall Park! Let's see who wins the next round...
International Beer Day
We had a fun-filled day as we raised a glass and tasted top ales in recognition of International Beer Day.
Our residents enjoyed a trip round to the local Wetherspoons where they had a wonderful lunch and raised a pint to celebrate the day! We even spent time learning about craft brewing and the history of beer.
David said he had been looking forward to going out to the pub all week, as he really enjoys being out with his friends, but particularly when there's a pint of beer involved! It was a wonderful day, enjoyed by all.
Local MP Visits!
Our residents and staff welcomed a visit from our local MP, Alex Norris, who was invited to Hall Park as our residents requested a meeting to discuss his role as an MP and answer questions. Our residents didn't hold back with asking questions and improving their knowledge, so much so that Alex even said it was similar to Prime Minister's Question Time!
Alex also enjoyed a tour of our home and spent time talking with our residents and getting to know them.
On behalf of Hall Park, our General Manager Jodie would like to thank Alex for taking the time to visit us!
Summer Fair success!
On Saturday 19th August Hall Park held its popular annual summer fair where families, friends and people from the local community helped raise money for an outing in our mini bus for the residents.
Everyone commented on how much fun they had and they really enjoyed our entertainer who had everyone dancing the afternoon away!
