Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Life at Hampton Grove Care Home
Welcome to the team 'Herbie'
Meet Herbie our pet therapy dog here at Hampton Grove. His first day with us this afternoon meeting just some of our residents, and will be visiting fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon. Looks like we will be making more dog biscuits soon!
Red Nose Day Challenge
Today the residents got started on the challenge they had set themselves: the sponsored walk for Red Nose Day from 10:30-12:30am. The residents were enjoying themselves so much they decided to keep walking into the afternoon and then enjoy a tea break in the garden. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed being outside almost all day. They've done such an amazing job!
St Patrick's Day Celebrations
Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Hampton Grove. 'May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow. And may trouble avoid you wherever your go' ~ Irish blessing.
Employee of the Month - February 2022
Hampton Grove care home residents and colleagues wish to congratulate Care Assistant; June Baxter on receiving Employee of the Month for February 2022.
June has been nominated by her colleagues and the residents for her continued dedication and support. She consistently promotes resident independence and wellbeing, encouraging them to join in activities and socialise. June knows the importance of individual well-being and shared enjoyment here at Hampton Grove.
She really is a team player and we all hope she enjoys her voucher and Barchester accolade, well done June you’re a star.

Spring Cleaning
The Hampton Grove residents decided to have a spring clean starting with the Greenhouse. It's now ready for us to start our summer planting.
Tribute Band Entertains
Yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure of watching a 'showaddywaddy' tribute band. They played brilliant 70s music, that had us all up and dancing all afternoon.
