Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Life at Hampton Grove Care Home
Hooray for Hollywood!
On Monday 21st February had the pleasure of welcoming the amazing 'Lissie' to take our residents on a journey through Hollywood. Lissie spent the afternoon with our residents, singing and dancing away. They had a great time singing along to some classic songs.
Oomph! Armchair Exercise
We love a good exercise session here at Hampton Grove. Kiaya's exercise videos on Oomph! got us all moving and grooving to the music with a little armchair exercise thrown in as well.
Random Acts of Kindness Day
What is Kindness? “The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.”
Today our General Manager Krzysztof took a little time out to drive around Peterborough delivering sweet treats and goodie bags to fellow care facilities, social clubs and emergency service teams.
It made us all at Hampton Grove smile knowing our little gifts might just make your day.
We hope everyone we met today managed to 'take a break' sit with friends and colleagues, chat and enjoy a biscuit, chocolate or two on us.
Homemade Pizza Anyone?
The residents at Hampton Grove enjoyed making Pizza so much last week that they requested to make more this week for their tea.
Valentines Weekend
Over the weekend at Hampton Grove, the residents with our activities staff, volunteers set up a craft afternoon making love hearts for valentines day to decorate the dining areas for all to enjoy, 'spreading the love'.
Valentines Day Meal
Here at Hampton Grove we know the importance of celebrating age old traditions like 'the day of love'; Valentine's. When you've been married as long as our three wonderful couples, it’s a very special thing.
Each were invited to a romantic 3 course meal in our Bonnie Prince Charlie pub. They each chose their favourite meals and were served by our hospitality team in the decorated tavern. It was so lovely to see them exchange cards and reminisce on their lives together over their romantic dinner.
The wine was served by our home manager; Krzysztof and activities coordinator; Lisa ensured our ladies received a single red rose from their husbands, and each couple enjoyed a box of chocolates to share.
