Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all our friends and family from Hampton Grove, we have had a cracking morning receiving Christmas presents from Santa. We had a lovely lunch prepared and cooked by our wonderful Kitchen team, with a glass of sherry.
Now it's time to sit back, watch and listen to the Queen speech this afternoon.

Community gifts
We would like to say a big thank you Richie, Lisa, Jade and Paige Sturrock who worked in partnership with ALTTA and Elevate You to donate all these wonderful gifts to us yesterday afternoon.
The residents and staff here are incredibly grateful for all the donations we received and they will go a long way in our life enrichment programme to make the residents lives more fulfilling.
Decorating biscuits
Here at Hampton Grove we are keeping the festive spirit going throughout December, by decorating some shortbread biscuits for our tea.
Christmas party
Yesterday we were delighted to host a Christmas party for our residents. The staff and residents got their dancing shoes on to join in with a very festive performance by 'something else'. The dynamic duo performed lots of Christmas songs that had our residents and staff up singing and dancing the whole time.

Wire Snowflakes
Today we were making our own snowflakes using metal coat hangers supplied by one of our residents family. Our residents were so creative in their designs, the finished snowflakes look beautiful on display.
